1. The "Cloud-Synced" Principle
The core functionality of Tactics Note is entirely local. When you create tags, log match events, or export CSV files via the app, that data is stored locally on your device (in your browser's local storage or IndexedDB). We do not transmit, sync, or back up your match analysis data to our servers. Because of this, we cannot see, share, or lose your match notes.
2. Data We Collect
We only collect the absolute minimum data required to operate our marketing website and provide basic app infrastructure:
- Analytics Data: We may use basic, privacy-friendly analytics tools to see aggregate website traffic and usage patterns. This data is anonymised and cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Communications: If you contact us directly via email, we will retain your email address and the contents of your message to provide support.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Your Match Data: As stated, your events, timestamps, custom tags, and team names stay on your device.
- Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect names, addresses, or phone numbers.
- Tracking Profiles: We do not build profiles on your browsing habits to sell to third-party advertisers.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party services to host our platform (such as edge infrastructure providers) and analyze high-level web traffic. These services are bound by their own privacy policies and only collect data strictly necessary for their technical operation.
5. Your Rights
Because your match data lives on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete your data at any time simply by clearing your browser's local storage or using any provided "Clear Data" option in the app settings.
